How to Start

The first step to joining our program is to visit our dojo. Come by and watch a class, fill out an application and meet with the instructor.

We allow most new prospective students to try our program for
One Free Week. It is recommended that students take advantage of this time to validate their desire to train in the martial arts. You can consider this week a sort of audition. You are comparing your wants and needs to our curriculum. We are judging your character, willingness & desire to learn and purpose for joining. We are not testing you and there are no right or wrong answers, there are only answers that help us understand your needs.

Please be aware, we occasionally require students to provide character references and letters of introduction or recommendation. If this is necessary in your case, we will normally let you know and allow you to continue to train for up to two weeks while you prepare and submit the required information.

The bottom line is...
Although we smile allot, have fun and even have a party now and again; you will work, train and practice hard. You won't get a black belt in 1 or 2 years. We are looking for serious, dedicated students. Those with severe criminal histories with no evidence of rehabilitation need not apply.

Here is what you need to do to
take advantage of your free week:

1. Call or come by the school and schedule your first class.

4. Wear "sweats" and a T-shirt

5. Meet with the other students and discuss the dojo formalities and common practices.
